Family meadery from Nové Město nad Metují, Czech republic. Producing high quality meads especially from varietal honeys.

We are beekeepers in the vicinity of Nové Město nad Metují with approx. 260 bee colonies. Bees are distributed at altitudes from 270 to 600 m.a.s.l. within a driving distance of up to 15 km. The breeding of bees is focused on the production of honey and the breeding of mothers of the Carnatic breed of the Singer strain. We process the obtained honey in two ways. One of them is the production of several types of mead, prepared from different honeys. Next, we fill the honey into glasses of several sizes. Another important activity is the production of thin-walled beehives from Scots pine in two frame lengths. Langstroth hives in four frame heights and beehives with a frame length of 39 cm, the so-called national, also in four frame heights.
